The University of Montana Western seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant/associate professor position focusing on accounting and finance within the Department of Business and Technology.
The successful candidate will primarily teach undergraduate courses in accounting and finance. Faculty workload includes teaching 12 credits (three courses) per semester, advising, scholarly activities and professional service.
The Business & Technology Department is externally accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in accounting, finance or a related area. Consideration will be given for candidates who do not hold a doctoral degree, but possess (1) a MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting and (2) CPA or CMA license combination.
Previous teaching experience is preferred. Candidates will have demonstrated effective leadership, the ability to work collegially with others, evidence or potential of scholarship, and verified business and industry experience in the accounting field.
