Welcome to the ASUMW Senator Online Application. For this application, you will need to submit your personal & academic information, personal statement, and a photo of yourself. If you have any questions regarding the election process, please visit the ASUMW Office located in the SUB Basement or call (406) 683-7211. Application deadline is Friday, September 19th at 5:00 P.M.
To qualify for the fall 2025 elections you must be an incoming freshman or transfer student. Interested returning students are encouraged to apply for the general ASUMW elections held in the spring semester.
Please attach a statement outlining the activities and organizations in which you have participated in. This includes student government, service organizations, political organizations, professional organizations, community service, honors society, and clubs. Ideal statements will highlight your role or position in these involvements and detail the skills you used and learned in each organization. Include your opinion regarding the greater concern for Montana Western students, the qualities you would bring to student senate, and why you want to become a senator. 500 word maximum.
