Biography
I am honored to serve as the Dean of Students at the University of Montana Western, my alma mater. My role is centered on supporting students as whole people and helping create a campus environment where every student, whether learning on campus or online—feels supported, connected, and empowered to succeed.
My leadership is guided by the core values of care, communication, trust, collaboration, accountability, and pride. I believe students thrive when they feel known, when expectations are clear, and when support is accessible and responsive. These values are reflected in the Bulldog Way, which emphasizes inclusion, respect, and a strong sense of belonging for all members of our community.
I work closely with students, faculty, and staff to support and oversee key student-support areas, including student wellness and counseling services, Disability Support Services, TRIO programs, residence life and housing, orientation, student leadership development, the campus Bookstore, and the Bulldog Card program. I am especially committed to ensuring that online students have access to the same care, communication, and support as those learning on campus, and that our systems are flexible enough to meet students where they are—academically, personally, and geographically.
I value open communication and believe strong partnerships are essential to a healthy campus community. My goal is to create systems and spaces that prioritize student well-being, safety, and growth, while encouraging all students to take pride in themselves, their learning experience, and their Bulldog identity. Whether you are attending classes in Dillon or from a distance, my door—virtual or in person—is always open, and I welcome the opportunity to listen, learn, and help.
Go Bulldogs!
