Tasha Felton, MS, LCPC
Dean of Students Center
Originally from the Mission Valley in northwest Montana, my family relocated to the Dillon area in the summer of 2020. I am deeply invested in the Montana people and landscape, and delight in being able to give back to Big Sky Country through my counseling practice. I am excited in this new role to be able to provide support to the students of Montana Western in reaching their goals. When away from work, I am a true crime and mystery junkie, a history nerd, a hiker, artist and want-to-be chef. While I provide professional and experienced service, my approach is laid back with a healthy sense of humor.
My approach also emphasizes relationship: how relationships have or are impacting our interactions with the world, our sense of self, and our mental and emotional health. I strive to have relationships with my clients that are marked by genuine understanding, trust and non-judgement. It is in this kind of relationship that strengths are realized, and healing and growth occurs.
