Community Water Conversations: Digging into Water Rights and Exempt Wells

The University of Montana Western and Trout Unlimited are excited to host the second annual “Community Water Conversations: Digging into Water Rights and Exempt Wells” on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Lewis and Clark Room located in UMW’s Mathews Hall.
The event is free and open to the public and will feature a panel and Q&A session. Designed to share knowledge and perspectives from a group of experts, this year’s panelists include: Andrew Gorder, Legal Director of the Clark Fork Coalition, Nate Ward, Water Rights Bureau Chief at Montana DNRC, Brooke Erb, Erb Livestock Company, and Race King, Ranch Manager at the Selkirk Division of Matador Ranch and Cattle Company.
