The University of Montana Western is excited to announce the upcoming groundbreaking ceremony for the highly anticipated Sports & Activities Complex project. The ceremony will mark a significant milestone in the development of a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a hub for athletics, recreational activities, and community gatherings.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled to take place on August 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the construction site of the Complex, located on the UMW football practice field. This momentous event will bring together community members, project stakeholders, and special guests.
“We believe that the Sports & Activities Complex will be transformative for the campus, our students, and the community,” said Montana Western Chancellor, Michael Reid. “The University extends its gratitude to all the individuals, organizations, and community members who have shown unwavering support throughout this journey.
