The panel discussion will take place on the UMW campus in the small auditorium on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The discussion will include the moral perspectives of panelists Father Russell Radoicich of Eastern Orthodox Christianity, Reverend David Andrew of Protestant Christianity, Rabbis Chaim Bruk and Chabad Lubavitch of Judaism, Imam Muhammed Shoayb Mehtar of Islam, and Dr. Michael Francisconi, secular humanist.
Chancellor Beth Weatherby will moderate the discussion and ask the panelists a series of spiritual and morality-related questions to engage in a discussion which will provide answers from multiple belief systems.
“I look forward to a thoughtful discussion with the leaders of various faiths which will contribute to a broader understanding of questions of morality and spirituality,” said Chancellor Weatherby.
Following the discussion the panelists will take questions from the audience.
