Montana Western Students, Faculty and Staff,
On Friday, April 23rd, 2021, the Beaverhead County Public Health Department (BCPHD) will continue hosting their vaccination clinic at the National Guard Armory located at 1070 Montana Highway 41.
Please note: Vaccinations are a powerful tool in protecting us against COVID-19. Below are some benefits of the vaccination to consider:
- Once a person is fully vaccinated (two weeks after their final dose) they no longer need to quarantine if they are a close contact to someone that does have COVID-19. This means not having to miss class, work, practice, or social events.
- A vaccinated person is highly protected against contracting COVID-19, making them safer from severe illness or potentially long-term side effects.
- Once you’re vaccinated, the CDC has given the green light to socialize with others that are vaccinated.
- You can have peace of mind that you are able to protect those that you care about: grandparents, parents, friends, and those that are immunocompromised.
For more information on the vaccines, and what you can do once you’re vaccinated, check out https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/index.html

Be well, Bulldogs!
