To the University Community,

We are preparing for the return of our students to campus and taking the necessary steps to continue keeping our community healthy and safe. Please take some time to look over the information below as you prepare to be on campus.

UMW Foundation and Alumni Office

The Foundation and Alumni office will be doing its part to keep our community safe and healthy. The following large events will be moved to spring 2021 or fall 2021 semesters.

As we continue to navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation, Alumni office and University will evaluate the ability to safely host face-to-face events and explore digital event options that will keep our alumni and friends engaged until we can see everyone in person again.

For questions about these events, please email [email protected].

ASUMW

ASUMW is currently planning activities for students that will be fun, engaging and follow all UMW COVID-19 safety protocols for the fall semester.

Student clubs will still meet and function this year. Clubs should submit their plans for the semester outlining how they will follow the COVID-19 guidelines that have been established on campus to [email protected] within the first week of Block 1 classes for ASUMW review.

As in previous years, students can also charter new clubs based on subjects they are passionate about. For more information on how to charter a club, please email [email protected]
