Biography

Daniel B. Chapman, Associate Professor of Theatre

He came to Montana Western after more than 20 years working as a designer in live entertainment. He is a member of United Scenic Artists (Lighting Design and Projection Design) and in addition to design he has worked extensively as a production manager and technical director. He is the author of Motion (http://cue.lighting) and Light Assistant (http://lightassistant.com). 

He received his MFA in Lighting Design from Carnegie Mellon and his BA from The University of New Mexico. He has taught previously at Western Illinois University and Berea College.
