Biography

Before coming to Montana Western, Doug taught biology, mathematics and computer programming at a high school in Detroit, Mich. He then taught mathematics at Montana State University. Since completing his graduate studies, Doug has been a member of the Montana Western faculty for the last 28 years. He currently teaches Business Research and Statistics and Basics Microsoft Office for the business department. In his Business Research and Statistics class, students analyze business data with statistics. Based on the analysis they make business decisions about what products to produce and if manufacturing processes are functioning properly. Finally, they develop skills in evaluating the quality of research data and the conclusions drawn from that data. Doug holds a Master of Science degree from Montana State University.
