I have been with my husband, a rancher, for 10 years. Together we have 3 spoiled, happy dogs. Two of those dogs live with me at the Birch Creek Center during the summer. I accepted the position as Head of Kitchen at Birch Creek last season while still attending Culinary School; I graduated this year with academic honors. My passion for cooking lies in fresh ingredients inspired by the seasons, highlighting the foods natural flavors at their peak. I take pride in having a ‘from-scratch kitchen’ and I enjoy encouraging the guests and employees at Birch Creek to try new flavors and foods. I have passion for cooking and compassion for people. When I am not at Birch Creek I enjoy grilling on my patio, hosting dinner parties for our friends and taking in the beautiful scenery near my home.
