Biography

I received my BS in Elementary Education from Western Montana College before the name was changed to University of Montana Western.  I received an MA degree in Linguistics/Teaching English as a Second Language at University of California, Fresno.

I taught ESL in Adult Schools in California.  I taught others to teach ESL at Lithuania Christian College in Lithuania.

I returned to Montana to be closer to family and taught College Writing and many other courses at Little Big Horn College in Crow Agency for four years.  Then I was an adjunct instructor at Highlands College in Butte.

In 2015, I returned to UMW and received a secondary endorsement in Business and Technology Education.  I taught in three different schools: Power, St Regis, and Dutton/Brady.

I am back at UMW again as a Montana College Compact AmeriCorps volunteer.  I’m serving in student services in the capacity of College Coach.  I’m available for advising, academic or career coaching.

Most of the time I’m in the Learning Center.  I can also be found in the Multi-cultural Center where the Student Services office is located (MH 212).

I look forward to working with UMW scholars
