Do you want to support people going through a tough time but aren’t sure how to help? This certified training teaches participants practical skills to support friends, colleagues, and neighbors who may be struggling.
Participants will learn how to:
- Recognize when someone is struggling or in a vulnerable place.
- Initiate a supportive and potentially emotional conversation using a seven-question guide.
- Help shift a person’s mental health trajectory toward wellness and away from crisis.

This certified training is offered as part of the 2026 MUS Mental Health & Wellbeing Summit: Building Cultures of Care. Registration is free, but seating is limited. Individuals who register after the training reaches capacity will be placed on a waiting list.
