UMW Multicultural Club and Babble Society will be co-hosting a six course French lunch prepared by Dining Services with former UMW faculty member Ashley Carlson, on Saturday, January 20, from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. in the Lewis & Clark Room of Matthews Hall. Please RSVP by Friday, January 19 at 8:00 P.M.

The lunch will be accompanied by a piece of family-friendly French-language media (with English subtitles). 


  1. Entrée: Cured meats with black olives, green olives, and French pickles.
  2. Soup: Tomato Velouté.
  3. Main: Boeuf Bourguignon with mashed potatoes.
  4. Salade Frisée: Frisée lettuce, boiled eggs, shallots, and mustard vinaigrette.
  5. Cheese platter.
  6. Dessert: Apple Tarte.
