The mission of the Montana Western’s Multi-cultural Center is to increase understanding, promote inclusion and inspire critical thinking about diversity. Diversity is defined here as having respect and appreciation of differences in ethnicity, gender, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, education and religion.
Diversity and inclusion will be examined through programs, lectures, movies, cultural celebrations, discussion groups and social events. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to use the center to promote this mission, as well as use the space to study, relax, gather or hold meetings.
