Annual UMW student art exhibition kicks off.

The showcase of student art will run through April 25 and kicks off with a reception on March 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Downtown Student Art Gallery.

All Montana Western students are eligible and encouraged to participate.

Students are able to submit between one and three works of art made within the past year. That includes, but not limited to photography, painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, drawing, installation and video works.

Artwork must be delivered to the gallery on Monday, March 21 between 10 a.m to 4 p.m. to be entered in the exhibition.

Over $1,000 in prizes will be awarded by the Mary Baker Emerick Foundation.
