Bridges to Business Speaker Series Welcomes Kent Miller

The University of Montana Western Business Department is welcoming Kent Miller, department manager for Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA), as a guest presenter for the Bridges to Business Speaker Series. Miller will speak at 7 p.m. on Tues. April 23, 2019 in the STC Great Room.

Currently Miller manages the Environmental Support and Service Organization at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is responsible for managing environmental support staff deployed at the INL site mission centers and research laboratories. In addition to his environmental work, Miller also manages the BEA Waste Management program responsible for disposition of nuclear and industrial waste generated at the INL.

Miller has over 39 years of experience in the nuclear industry, working in a wide variety of positions related to environmental safety, health and quality. Miller has gained experience in emergency management, issues management and operations.

Miller has a Bachelor of Science degree from Idaho State University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Idaho. He is married to Danette Miller and they have three children and one granddaughter. Their youngest son currently attends the University of Montana Western.
