Dillon Concert Association Presents “Holland and Coots Jazz Quintet” at UMW

November 6, 2023

The Dillon Concert Association is proud to present "Holland and Coots Jazz Quintet" on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. in the University of Montana Western's Beier Auditorium.

The Dillon Concert Association is proud to present the five-piece band as a feature act of their 2023-24 Concert Series. With a delightful mix of jazz, blues, stride, boogie, pop, and ragtime, Holland and Coots are sure to provide an evening of entertainment you won’t want to miss!

Brian Holland and Danny Coots began performing together as a duo in 2010 after spending decades individually on the jazz and ragtime circuits honing their skills on piano and drums, respectively. Since joining forces, they’ve been on a mission to introduce audiences all over the world to their style of music and fun.

Since debuting at the 2017 Durango Ragtime and Early Jazz Festival, the Holland-Coots Jazz Quintet has amazed the jazz and ragtime world with their energy, musicality, and humor. As a group, they work together as brothers – each a wonderful soloist and absolute marvels as a team.

Single concert tickets are available at the door for $20 for adults, $10 for college students, and $6 for youth, with season tickets also available that provide membership in the Dillon Concert Association and admittance to all 2023-24 performances. Season ticket membership prices are as follows: adults – $50; college students – $10; student/youth – $6. As a bonus, the Anaconda and Butte Community Concert Associations will grant admission to their concerts to those who present a DCA membership card. Attendees who bring a can of food to donate to the local food bank will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win two adult tickets for the 2024-25 DCA Series, a $100 value.
