Montana Western campus community garden begins fall harvest.

September 26, 2016

“On and off-campus students are encouraged to come to the garden ready to help out with this year’s harvest,” Lyon said. “They will be rewarded with a box of delicious, organic vegetables for their hard work.”

The campus community garden serves as a learning resource for UMW students and members of the community and features integrated renewable energy systems, two greenhouses, a native plant trail and over 20 community garden plots.

This year’s harvest includes pumpkins, tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchini.

The garden is located behind the Youth Challenge building at 790 E. Cornell St, Dillon, Mont. 59725.
