Each candidate will visit the Dillon, Mont. campus and meet with students, faculty, staff and members of the community in the next two weeks, search committee chair Chad Baver said.

That is a testament to the hard work and vision of everyone in the athletic department.”

? John Kietzmann: April 18, 2016 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. in the STC Great Room.
Russell Richardson: April 28, 2016 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. in the STC Great Room.
Kietzmann currently serves as the assistant director of athletics at Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colo. He has previously served as assistant director of athletics at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, N.D. Kietzmann has a bachelors and masters from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and is expected to earn his doctorate from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. in December 2016.
Currently head athletic trainer and associate professor at Montana Western, Richardson previously served as a visiting professor at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho and as director of athletic training at Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash. Richardson earned a bachelors from Montana Western, a masters from California State University, Fresno and a doctorate from Washington State University in Pullman, Wash.
The athletic director position directs the universitys athletic programs and serves as a member of the chancellors cabinet.
