Academic Building Access

Effective as of August 28, 2023, the schedule for access to campus academic buildings is as follows:

Monday – Friday

• 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. all students, faculty, and staff will have access to academic buildings. The exterior doors will be unlocked during this time.
• 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. exterior doors are locked and students have access using their Bulldog Card. Faculty & staff have access to the building in which their office is located with the Bulldog Card.
• 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. exterior doors are locked and faculty, staff, and some students (with pre-requested authorization from their instructor or supervisor) will have access using their Bulldog Card.

Effective Monday, November 27, 2023, the Swysgood Technology Center will have “Academic Building Access” from 6:00-10:00 p.m. with Bulldog Cards.

Weekend Hours

• Faculty and staff have access using their Bulldog Cards to the building where their office is located.
• If additional building access is required on weekends, please request in advance.
• Only pre-authorized students will have access using their Bulldog Cards on the weekends.

At this time, there will be no changes to the current Lucy Carson Library, Emerick Studio, residence halls, or Student Union Building door schedules. The schedule for the BARC is currently in development. Any future changes will be communicated once they are available.

Bulldog Card Access Management

The forms below should be utilized by supervisors and department heads as needed. All forms require 24-48 hours processing time for requests to be evaluated.

Outside of regular business hours, please call 406-596-2222 for any door malfunctions or if you are unable to access a building as expected.
