1. Policy 

The University of Montana Western’s Department of Communications, overseen by the Director of Communications, has procedural responsibility for quality and consistency in all official university publications, website content, press releases, social media posts, and printed materials produced in the UMW Printing Services Office or by third party vendors. Each Montana Western product and publication should be recognized as part of the institution when it carries the same identifying message, label, or symbol. 

2. Purpose 

To ensure and maintain institutional integrity and to demonstrate the cohesiveness of the University of Montana Western in its mission, programs, and services.
