Since its founding in 1893 The University of Montana - Western has been dedicated to excellence in undergraduate education. Students seeking enrichment and challenge beyond the normal course of study find the Honors Program a perfect option. Classes in the Honors Program are thematically-based interdisciplinary seminars. Honors classes provide opportunities to do independent research as well as offer experiential and service-learning components. The compact, 34-acre campus assures easy access to each of the 17 major buildings.
