The University of Montana Western Fine Arts Gallery is proud to host “Que Van a Dar a la Muerte - That Run Empty Into Death” by Kenneth L. Field. The exhibit will be available for viewing in the gallery, located in Main Hall, until Feb. 10, open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Inspired by their commitment to higher education, Steve and Gretchen Burke have provided a generous gift to the University of Montana Western in support of the Fund for Experience One. This fund was established in 2015 by Chancellor Beth Weatherby and her husband, Dr. Steve Kramer, in celebration of Montana Western’s ten-year anniversary of the implementation of Experience One.
University of Montana Western alumna, Meagan Nahrgang, recently joined the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) as the new Corporate Partner Manager.
The Montana Center for Horsemanship announced, it has received a large grant to help the Center to continue the expansion of the education and event facility. The Center, whose focus is education and helping horses and people to make the most of their respective lives, says the grant will support the expansion of state-of-the-art classrooms including a veterinary/research laboratory.
The University of Montana Western named 572 students to the 2020 fall semester Dean's List.
The University of Montana Western will begin providing free, voluntary COVID-19 tests to asymptomatic students this week and for the first two weeks of classes, which start Monday, Jan. 11.
