UMW NAMES PROVOST AND VICE CHANCELLOR FOR ACADEMIC AND STUDENT AFFAIRS
The University of Montana Western is pleased to announce that Dr. Johnny MacLean, currently Associate Provost at Southern Utah University (SUU), has been named the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs after a national search. He will begin his new position at Montana Western on January 3rd, 2022.
UMW PROFESSORS RECEIVE GRANTS TO CONTINUE UPPER CLARK FORK DRAINAGE RESEARCH
Dr. Arica Crootof and Dr. Rob Thomas of the Environmental Sciences Department at the University of Montana Western have both received grants to continue their work on the Upper Clark Fork drainage in the Deerlodge Valley of Montana.

That’s the question that Professor Kevin Engellant’s students answered as part of his block three class “Introduction to Web Design.” Helix Business Solutions (Helix), a global customer experience firm, conducted a Customer Experience & Web Assessment Module within Engellant’s class, giving students the opportunity to learn the business principles of customer experience.

MONTANA WESTERN PRESENTS "IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY"
The University of Montana Western’s Theatre students are pleased to announce “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” to be held November 18-21 as part of the Bank of Commerce Performing Arts Series. The performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night in the Small Auditorium (room 314) in Main Hall on the University of Montana Western campus.
