VICTORIA PEHLKE AWARDED SIGMA TAU DELTA SCHOLARSHIP
University of Montana Western student Victoria Pehlke has been awarded a Sigma Tau Delta scholarship in recognition of her academic achievements and dedication to writing. The scholarship honors students who demonstrate excellence in English studies and contribute actively to their campus communities.

MONTANA YOUTH CHALLENGE ACADEMY TO HOST EDUCATOR AIRLIFT EVENT ON OCTOBER 8TH
The Montana Youth Challenge Academy, in partnership with the Montana National Guard 1-189th (General Support Aviation Battalion) and the University of Montana Western, will be hosting an educator airlift event on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

LIFE: INSIDE AND OUT 2025–2026 SEASON LINEUP
The University of Montana Western’s Biology Department speaker series, Life: Inside and Out (LIO), is underway for the 2025–2026 academic year. LIO invites scientists from across the country to share their research with the Montana Western and Dillon communities in a way that is accessible to students and the general public. LIO invites all to attend the next presentation, “High-elevation Pine Physiological Responses to Drought” by Dr. Danielle Ulrich, on Wednesday, September 17, in UMW’s Lucy Carson Library.
